SPAIN TOUR

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN BARCELONA

Arrive in Barcelona and meet your representative at the airport for your private transfer to the hotel, located close to the atmospheric Gothic Quarter.
After check-in, take some time to settle in and rest after your journey.
Later in the afternoon, step out to discover the Barri Gòtic, Barcelona's atmospheric medieval quarter. Wander through its narrow lanes and hidden squares, passing the magnificent Barcelona Cathedral before continuing towards Plaça Reial and the famous La Rambla.
This evening, begin your Spanish journey the way it should begin — around a table. Settle into a local tapas restaurant and enjoy your first taste of Spain, with small plates, local wine and the easy rhythm of a Barcelona evening.

DAY 2 - BARCELONA · GAUDÍ & PICASSO

After breakfast, begin the day with Barcelona's most extraordinary architectural landmark — Sagrada Família. Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece is unlike any other basilica in the world, with towering organic forms, intricate details and coloured light transforming the vast interior.
Continue towards El Born, one of Barcelona's most atmospheric neighbourhoods. Once a medieval quarter, today it is filled with independent boutiques, cafés, wine bars and restaurants.
Enjoy lunch while exploring the neighbourhood before visiting the Picasso Museum, housed within a series of beautiful Gothic mansions. The museum offers a fascinating insight into Picasso's formative years and his deep connection with Barcelona.
Later, visit Park Güell, another of Gaudí's extraordinary creations. Walk through its colourful mosaic-covered spaces and enjoy sweeping views across Barcelona.
Return to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

DAY 3 - MONTSERRAT · MOUNTAINS & MONASTERY

Today, leave Barcelona behind and journey into the dramatic landscape of Montserrat, a mountain range characterised by its unusual serrated rock formations.
At the heart of these mountains lies Montserrat Monastery, one of Catalonia's most important spiritual destinations. Visit the basilica and see the revered Black Madonna, known as La Moreneta.
Take time to explore the monastery and its surroundings, with an opportunity for a short walk through the mountain landscape and to enjoy the spectacular views over Catalonia.
Later, return to Barcelona.
This evening, head towards Barceloneta, the city's historic fishing quarter, for a relaxed seafood dinner by the Mediterranean. Enjoy fresh local flavours and the atmosphere of Barcelona by the sea.
Return to the hotel after dinner.

DAY 4 - BARCELONA · SEVILLE · INTO ANDALUSIA

After breakfast, transfer to Barcelona airport for your flight to Seville, the heart of Andalusia.
Upon arrival, meet your local representative and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, begin discovering this beautiful city with a visit to the magnificent Real Alcázar of Seville.
This extraordinary royal palace brings together centuries of Islamic, Mudéjar, Gothic and Renaissance influences. Explore its ornate courtyards, beautifully tiled rooms and tranquil gardens filled with fountains and orange trees.
Later, continue towards Seville Cathedral, one of the world's great Gothic cathedrals, before climbing the Giralda, the city's iconic bell tower and former minaret.
As evening falls, Seville begins to come alive. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and experience the city's famous tapas culture.

DAY 5 - SEVILLE · SHERRY, TAPAS & FLAMENCO

Today is about experiencing Seville beyond its great monuments.
Begin with a leisurely walk through Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter. Its narrow lanes, whitewashed houses, small plazas and flower-filled courtyards make this one of the most atmospheric areas of the city.
Along the way, stop for tapas and discover some of the flavours that define Andalusian cuisine.
Later, enjoy a Spanish wine and sherry tasting, discovering the traditions behind some of Spain's most distinctive wines and pairing them with local delicacies.
Continue across the Guadalquivir River to Triana, a neighbourhood famous for its ceramics, flamenco traditions and lively atmosphere.
This evening, experience the passion of flamenco — an art form born from the complex cultural history of Andalusia, expressed through music, rhythm, song and movement.
Dinner afterwards at a local restaurant.

DAY 6 - SEVILLE · CÓRDOBA · THE CITY OF THREE CULTURES

After breakfast, take the short high-speed train journey to Córdoba.
Once one of Europe's greatest centres of learning and culture, Córdoba carries the remarkable legacy of Roman, Islamic, Jewish and Christian Spain.
Begin with a visit to the extraordinary Mezquita-Catedral, one of the world's most remarkable architectural spaces. Step inside the famous forest of red-and-white striped arches and discover how a magnificent mosque was later transformed into a cathedral.
Continue into the historic Judería, Córdoba's old Jewish quarter. Wander through its narrow lanes towards the beautiful Calleja de las Flores, one of the city's most picturesque corners.
Later, visit the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, a medieval fortress surrounded by beautiful gardens, fountains and reflecting pools.
As evening approaches, enjoy the quieter side of Córdoba. With the day visitors gone, the old quarter becomes wonderfully atmospheric.

DAY 7 - CÓRDOBA · MADRID · THE SPANISH CAPITAL

Begin your morning with a walk across the historic Puente Romano, the ancient Roman bridge spanning the Guadalquivir River. From here, enjoy beautiful views back towards Córdoba's historic centre.
Later, board the high-speed train to Madrid.
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in.
Madrid offers a very different side of Spain — grand boulevards, elegant architecture, world- class museums and a vibrant café and food culture.
This evening, take a relaxed stroll through Retiro Park, Madrid's beautiful green heart, before enjoying dinner at leisure.

DAY 8 - MADRID · ART, ROYALTY & THE FLAVOURS OF SPAIN

Begin your day at the magnificent Prado Museum, home to some of Europe's greatest works of art. Discover masterpieces by Velázquez, Goya, El Greco and Bosch as you explore Spain's extraordinary artistic heritage.
Continue to the Royal Palace of Madrid, the grand former residence of Spain's monarchy. Explore its magnificent state rooms and historic interiors before stepping back into the heart of Madrid.
Later, wander through the lively Malasaña neighbourhood, known for its independent cafés, boutiques, bars and contemporary food scene.
This evening, enjoy a final dinner in Madrid, raising a glass to the journey through Spain.

DAY 9 - MADRID · A FINAL TASTE OF SPAIN · DEPARTURE

This morning, take a final stroll through the historic centre of Madrid, beginning at Plaza Mayor, one of the city's most iconic squares.
Continue to Mercado de San Miguel, where Spain's food culture comes together under one roof. Take time to sample tapas, local cheeses, cured meats, seafood and perhaps a final glass of Spanish vermouth.
Later, continue along Gran Vía, Madrid's grand boulevard, for some final shopping and a last taste of the city.
At the appointed time, transfer to Madrid airport for your onward flight.
End of the journey.
