Itinerary for Kashmir

Day 1

Arrive at Srinagar.

The airport is a cosy airport and will quickly take our bags and move on to feel the first glimpse of the valley. We will head towards our car and move to experience our first interaction with Kashmir by staying overnight on Houseboat.

Nageen Lake, the place our houseboat will be stationed is surrounded by a large number of willow and poplar trees.

Adjacent to Hari Parbat hillock, Nigeen Lake is situated on the west of Dal Lake. Even though it is a different lake but is sometimes considered to be a part of the Dal Lake as it is connected via a narrow strait. The lake is indeed a jewel of Srinagar which adds to the tranquil and picturesque environment.

On arrival get freshen up and settle in your rooms with a view. Today since we arrived from a long flight it will be a restful and peaceful afternoon.

Enjoy the lunch on board.

Late afternoon we will indulge in a shikara ride to witness the sunset on Dal Lake.

The most mesmerizing moment the whole aura of the evening is very melting.

Return to the hotel, enjoy a hot dinner and cuddle up to your beds.

Overnight at Houseboat.

The temple was destroyed by the Shah Miri dynasty in the 15th century, on the orders of the erstwhile Muslim ruler of Kashmir, Sikandar Shah Miri.

Betaab valley, originally called Hajan Valley or Hagan Valley is situated at a distance of 15 km from Pahalgam in Anantnag district in India’s union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The Valley is towards northeast of Pahalgam and falls between Pahalgam and Chandanwadi and is en route Amarnath Temple Yatra. The valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation.

Betaab Valley is also a favorite campsite of travelers as it also serves as a base camp for trekking and further exploration of the mountains. The valley is a walk-able distance from Pahalgam. The crystal clear & chilly water of the stream bubbling down from the snowy hills is a delight; locals here drink this water too.
